A prototype made for a scenario of domestic mixed-reality activities such as cooking a meal, described in The Sorcerers and Their Apprentices.
Modelled in Rhino and 3D printed on CBA equipment before rapid prototyping machines were common. Electronics integrated into modified earbuds, with embedded signal processing for machine vision — deictic gesture recognition synchronised with voice cues, in a put-that-there scenario.
