A mobile fabrication unit moved between classrooms of a school founded in 1766.

The Mobile Unit of Composite Experimentation — a fablab on wheels letting students deploy 3D printers, a laser cutter, an actuated knife, a CNC and an electronics bench in any classroom of the school.

Laser cutting was integrated into the textile serigraphy department, and two technicians were hired and trained to support that transition. Students documented their processes in a wiki and trained the following year's students through informal workshops.
